REPOWER Mission
To prevent severe psychological disorders, restore the strength and motivation of active military medics for further service.
Why it matters
There is a catastrophic shortage of medics at the front. Those who remain are working at the limits of their abilities and exhaustion. If we don’t take care of them now, we risk losing them.

We restore the resilience of those who save thousands of lives!
This happens through short interventions — Repower psychological recovery projects in Scandinavian countries.

Psychological Recovery Program
Psychological Sessions
Daily sessions with military psychologists who understand the sensitivity of the issue and help to gain new insights and effective tools to combat symptoms. Practices take place in group therapies, in individual sessions, as well as in mini-groups for evening reflection and various art therapies.

Mind Body Practices
Processing trauma and PTSD necessarily involves interaction with the physical body. To relax the body from the protective mechanisms that the psyche uses, we create a connection between thoughts, emotions and bodily sensations, teach self-regulation practices and activate the internal reserve of the participants.

Physical Recovery
This process includes active sports games, contact with water in the pool and the sea, electro-surfing, breathing practices, therapeutic qigong, use of ShiftWave rehabilitation chairs, daily sauna visits, a balanced healthy diet and staying in a hotel far from the city with access to wildlife.

Cultural Program
In order to restore emotional balance and return motivation, the project has a series of historical lectures and city tours, with an emphasis on the fight against inferiority, through the debunking of myths imposed by propaganda.

Professional Meetings
In order to exchange experience, acquire new knowledge and develop future partnership between Ukrainian and Swedish doctors and volunteers (for example: discussion of TSSS standards with combat medics of the Swedish Armed Forces, meeting at the hospital "Sophiahemmet", the rehabilitation center "Aleris", the organization "Framtidståger" ).

Official Meetings
We provide an opportunity for participants to talk about the needs of the army or the current situation with prisoners of war to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Defense of Sweden. We speak loudly about our presence to support the Ukrainian issue on the agenda, so we organize press conferences and meetings with high-ranking officials and institutions of Sweden.

Creating Community
During the project, we arrange a number of meetings with the aim of exchanging experience and building future international partnerships (for example,Sophiahemmet hospital, rehabilitation station Aleris, team of NGO for the reintegration and career guidance of displaced persons Framtidståger).

Institutions Responsible for Selecting Participants
The foundation’s projects are implemented in close cooperation with state institutions that recommend participants for the program.
First, we send official requests for candidate selection for a specific project to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. Their respective commands then forward these requests to military units of different branches, depending on the available participant quotas and proposed project dates.

Our Plan — to save 100 heroes each month from severe psychological disorders
Since December 2022, we have already helped to recover 1,200 medics from 320 military units!
We aim to secure ongoing support and provide monthly recovery for 100 military medics and volunteers from emotional burnout, depression, and anxiety disorders.
Currently, the projects are funded through continuous fundraising efforts in Ukraine, Sweden, and Denmark — and we need your support!
