Our fifth Charity Dinner gathered 63 100 EUR and over 250 guests!
On April 25, 2026, we successfully held our fifth Repower Charity Dinner at the Nordiska Museet in Stockholm. We gathered 256 guests - representatives of the public sector, business and civil society organizations. The event was aimed at supporting the Ukrainian military and strengthening international dialogue.
One of the most profound moments of the evening was the speech by our special guest, Ignatius Ivlev-Yorke. A participant of the 18th Repower project, Ignatius is originally from Britain but came to Ukraine and served as a paramedic with Voluntary Batallion Hospitallers and one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reconnaissance units. «In that moment, the war allowed no good decisions, only necessary ones. Ukrainian combat medics are forced to face such choices every single day. But thanks to Repower and thanks to you, we know we are not alone", - says Ignatius.

A special thanks to Joakim Paasikivi for a powerful speech on the meaning of our common struggle. We also thank Mikael Frisell (Director General of MCF), Håkan Jyde (President of EBA in Ukraine and CEO of Scania), and Alina Chubko (Second Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in Sweden) for their support.
During the gala dinner, an important message was delivered by international partners about the changing perception of Ukraine. The guests noted that today Ukraine is increasingly seen not through the prism of victimhood, but as a country of strength and resilience - a reliable partner that continues to develop even in conditions of war. The guests emphasized the resilience of Ukrainian society, its ability to recover and form active communities, such as Repower, that work for the future and the reconstruction of the country.
We managed to gather people united by common values and faith in our victory. We felt very clearly that despite all the challenges, Ukraine is today perceived as a state that not only endures, but also transforms and creates a new quality of development.
Gala dinner concept
The concept of the evening was built around the image of a spring Ukrainian forest, symbolizing renewal, life, and unity with the nature of Ukraine. The event program included speeches by high-ranking officials, a concert by a Ukrainian choir with traditional spring flowers, as well as a performance by the Ukrainian artist GANNA from Berlin, who combines electronic sound, Ukrainian folklore, and modern jazz in her music. One of the lots of the charity auction was the sword of the world fencing champion Vlada Kharkova.
Through the concept of the event, we tried to convey that spring in Ukraine came after the most terrible winter, thanks to unity and support from outside. Similarly, victory will come thanks to the support of Western partners and unity inside and outside the country.
The event became a real platform for international dialogue and once again emphasized the importance of long-term support for Ukraine. Incredible Ukrainian flavors were presented at the highest level by Chef Oleksii Shpionov and the Set Сatering team. Their set of signature dishes became a true gastronomic discovery. The evening was filled with special meaning through:
- The deep and powerful voices of the Ukrainian Choir in Stockholm;
- The modern energy of electro-ethno music by Ganna ;
- A soulful performance of the anthem and musical accompaniment by Jana Kovalova.

A special shout-out to Björn Bringes for the high-energy charity auction. Your drive helped us raise even more funds to support our heroes!
